John Granger joined Paramount Mortgage in 2008 as Senior Loan Officer. Prior to Paramount, John himself has 34 years experience in the mortgage industry and is a leading, high-visibility Mortgage Banker.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, John began his career in 1975 as a Loan Officer with Western Savings and Loan originating FHA, VA and Conventional loans. He later became a Producing Branch Manager for a nationally recognized Mortgage lender. In 1989, John become Vice President of a Dallas based mortgage banking firm, and Head of Production for their Affiliated Business Arrangement program.
As Head of Production for the Affiliated Business Arrangement program, John consummated over 50 relationships with nationally recognized Home Builders providing annual mortgage production in excess of $1 Billion dollars. John has also been active in Branch operations, wholesale lending and secondary marketing.
In these various capacities, John had first hand experience in mortgage production, loan servicing, customer relations, and other support operations. John is dedicated to serving his customers with respect, professionalism and a sense of urgency.
John is a 1974 graduate of North Texas State University where he was a 4-time All American in golf. He is married, enjoys golf, spending time with his family, and snow skiing in Colorado.
